Govt boosts subsidies to small, medium business to 104.4 bln rbl

MOSCOW, Jun 22 (PRIME) -- The Russian government has increased subsidies to small and medium enterprises that suffered losses from the coronavirus pandemic to 104.4 billion rubles from 81.2 billion rubles, according to the documents released on the state portal for legal information on Monday.

The government also ordered the Industry and Trade Ministry to allocate 4.5 billion rubles from the reserve fund to production and sales of special-purpose equipment and machinery. The sum includes 2 billion rubles of subsidies to sell at least 3,600 agricultural machinery units, 1.5 billion rubles for discounts to customers to sell 9,200 machinery units, and 1 billion rubles for leasing companies to sell at least 2,500 machinery units.
